What this service is not
We are a record-keeping and reminder service. We are not a law firm, we do not give legal advice, and we do not file anything with any agency on your behalf.Using this service does not make you compliant, and nothing here is a guarantee that you are. Responsibility for meeting every obligation that applies to your business remains yours.
Accuracy
We take considerable care with the rules we encode and we cite them so you can check our work. Regulations change, agencies publish corrections, and public data sources are sometimes wrong or out of date. Where we are unsure, we tell you rather than guess. Verify anything that matters against the rule itself before you rely on it.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your logins and for the accuracy of what you enter. Do not share credentials. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.
Your data
Your records remain yours. You may export them at any time. We use them to provide the service to you and for nothing else. See the privacy policy.
Payment
Billed monthly in advance at the published rate, based on the number of power units on your account. There is no contract and no minimum term — cancel whenever you like, and you will not be billed again. We do not refund part-months, but we will not bill you for a month you did not use.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not promise it will never be unavailable. Alerts depend on email and mobile networks we do not control. Do not treat an alert that did not arrive as evidence that a deadline did not exist.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for fines, penalties, lost business or consequential losses. Some of these limits may not apply to you where the law does not permit them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
